ZZ is truly one of a kind. Over the last 2 years he has helped me tremendously with my game, and has become a great friend over that time as well. His unique approach to the game is as flexible and adaptable as I have seen; I am sure of this after reading 6 BG books in the last year. His insights into risk & reward carry far beyond the backgammon board, and I am amazed at how precocious and wise he is for his age — half of my age! Truly a gift for all of us to learn from and enjoy this amazing game.

I have been amazed how much more I have learnt after listening to ZZ´s thinking for the past few years. After he explains me something, I always feel like I have gotten better and understood the game a little bit more as he reveals what is truly happening in the position.

At the weekend I watched the whole course. I can say it is very helpful for them, who just started learn backgammon or would like to improve and understand the main concepts better. In the lessons “Introduction” and “Glossary” ZZ explains the terminology, so he shows an example for all the words and expressions what are used in books, articles and posts as well. Even if you think your English is not enough good to understand, don’t worry, you will do, because Zdenek explains everything understandable and clear in the same style as in his book. There are 14 lessons (around 20-40 min/lesson), from beginning through the middle game till the endgame, plus the theory of cube actions and cubing in Race and Holding games. After you purchased the course, you can watch it back anytime. I use Vimeo App and it works well. I can highly recommend to everybody who plays around PR 8-9 or more. I’m looking forward to watching the next course 🙂
